Note: this chart, like the 24H / 7D / 30D cards and the “Burn by Chain” panel above, is booked on the day each burn happened. That is the amount each chain's burn address actually recorded that day, the same method Dune uses. The total shown in the chart is 80.00K UNI; Total Burned and “Burn Composition” accumulate the on-chain balance of the mainnet dead address (0x…dEaD) transaction by transaction, so they include the 100.05M pre-switch burn that sat there before the fee switch on 2025-12-29. A cross-chain burn takes 1–7 more days to settle to mainnet after it is recorded on its own chain, which means these two figures are the same UNI booked at two different moments, and they must not be added together. A day with no collection record stays blank rather than 0. Single-chain stats exclude the pre-switch burn, so the cumulative burn here counts only the protocol fee burns this chain produced after the fee switch was enabled.
